Transport Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Transport Driver with their own equipment to join our team and ensure the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods. In this role, you will be operating your own flatbed truck or truck with a flatbed trailer (14'-18' preferred) to serve our clients and support our operational needs. This is a contract based position, you are your own boss. Would be great for someone retired and looking to make some money and fill some time. Responsibilities :

Ensure efficient and safe loading of all cargo, requiring very little to no lifting, maintaining secure placement during transit Follow scheduled routes or delivery plans accurately while managing time efficiently to meet deadlines Communicate effectively with dispatcher, clients, and team members regarding schedules, delays, or issues that arise during transit Requirements Own a flatbed truck or truck with flatbed trailer (preferably 14-18' long) Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., commercial driver's license for heavy vehicles) with a clean driving record Have flexibility with scheduling, some jobs may be over weekends but mainly during the week Ability to perform physical tasks and prolonged periods of driving or standing Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance procedures Experience with commercial driving is preferred but not mandatory

Pay:

From $60.00 per hour
