Job Description
A Great Place to Grow City of St. Michael, Minnesota Utility Worker Saint Michael (Pop. 22,000) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Utility Worker. This position works on all functions of the city sewer collection system (lift stations, wastewater collection, storm sewer, and other public works/utility activities), Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent experience, a good driving record, a Class S-D or higher collection system sewer operator certificate from the MPCA, and two years of experience in utility operations. Commercial driver's license with air brake/tanker endorsement and lift station maintenance experience is also required. The position pay range is $33.73/hour to $41.13/hour (2026 Range), with the actual starting wage dependent on qualifications.
