This position works on all functions of the city sewer collection system (lift stations, wastewater collection, storm sewer, and other public works/utility activities), Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent experience, a good driving record, a Class S-D or higher collection system sewer operator certificate from the MPCA, and two years of experience in utility operations. Commercial driver's license with air brake/tanker endorsement and lift station maintenance experience is also required. The position pay range is $33.73/hour to $41.13/hour (2026 Range), with the actual starting wage dependent on qualifications.
