Safety-Kleen, a Clean Harbors company, is seeking a Vacuum Sales & Service Driver (CDL) to support customers in the Utilities & Energy sector. In this field-based role, you will operate a CDL truck to deliver, service, and pick up vacuum and environmental solutions, including used oil and waste materials. You will manage a route, build customer relationships, and identify sales opportunities while following strict DOT, safety, and environmental regulations. Responsibilities Operate CDL truck to deliver, pick up, and service vacuum systems and environmental products for industrial and commercial customers Perform scheduled route sales, promote Safety-Kleen services, and grow assigned territory revenue Safely load, secure, and transport used oil, waste, and related materials in compliance with DOT and environmental regulations Complete pre/post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs, manifests, and service documentation Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on vacuum equipment and hoses on customer sites Follow all Safety-Kleen and Clean Harbors safety policies and PPE requirements; participate in safety meetings and training Provide professional, customer-focused service, address basic technical questions, and escalate issues as needed Coordinate with dispatch and operations to optimize routes, schedules, and service quality Assist with warehouse or yard duties related to materials handling and equipment staging as required Report spills, incidents, and equipment issues promptly and support continuous improvement efforts Required Skills CDL truck driving Route sales Hazardous materials handling DOT compliance Load securement Vacuum equipment operation Safety and PPE practices Customer relationship management Documentation and manifesting Basic mechanical troubleshooting
