Job Description
Job Summary:
FULL OR PARTIME
Driving hours vary from week to week. If you are looking for 40 hours a week you must be willing to do work general labor work. ALL trucks are NON-SMOKING and non-vaping. You must pass drug screen and be involved in our random drug testing program after being hired. Daytime only Monday through Friday We are seeking a reliable and experienced Local Driver to join our team. As a Local Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations within a designated area. This position requires excellent driving skills and the ability to operate different types of vehicles.Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a variety of vehicles, including manual transmission trucks, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
Skills:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy driving and have experience in commercial driving.
- Friday 8am to 4pm
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$17.50- $25.
