Job Summary:

Driving hours vary from week to week. If you are looking for 40 hours a week you must be willing to do work general labor work. ALL trucks are NON-SMOKING and non-vaping. You must pass drug screen and be involved in our random drug testing program after being hired. Daytime only Monday through Friday We are seeking a reliable and experienced Local Driver to join our team. As a Local Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations within a designated area. This position requires excellent driving skills and the ability to operate different types of vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a variety of vehicles, including manual transmission trucks, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members

Skills:

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus
