Truck Driver-Dedicated Route

Job Overview Shatto Milk Company is seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting bottled milk safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and the ability to operate a refrigerated box truck. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the cargo. This is a full-time, permanent position with great benefits. Duties Operate and drive a refrigerated box truck. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo as needed, utilizing a two wheel dolly. Maintain accurate records of deliveries Communicate with company representative regarding route changes, delays, or any issues encountered during transport. Ensure proper handling of cargo to maintain temperature-sensitive goods. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies throughout the driving process. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (Class E required) Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on route driving Experience with refrigerated box trucks is a plus Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in truck driving Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently The ability to be flexible Good communication skills for effective interaction with company representatives and our customers The ability to lift, push, pull, bend and stoop without difficulty or concern.
