You will primarily be responsible for ensuring safe and timely transportation of goods while upholding the highest standards of industry compliance and excellence that Hogan1 is renowned for. Responsibilities Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods to and from specified locations in a timely manner. Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance as required. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, complying with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. Report defects, accidents, or violations and ensure the security of the load. Handle paperwork including invoices, bills of lading, and other necessary documents. Collaborate with logistics staff to ensure optimum routes, schedules, and cargo security. Required Skills Proficiency in operating CDL-A required heavy vehicles. Strong time management and route planning skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Adaptability and foresightedness to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.).
