The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating Ready Mix truck. Union position with full benefits. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic laws, and the ability to navigate routes efficiently while delivering goods on time. On the job training will be provided. Responsibilities Performs all duties assigned by management in a timely manner Drives truck under loading hopper to receive sand, gravel, cement and water and starts mixer Keeps proper records and documents daily activities Assists in yard functions by lifting materials and operating equipment Cleans truck after delivery to prevent concrete from hardening in mixer and on truck Drives truck safely and timely to location for unloading Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and reports repairs to personnel Clean MVR Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles. Strong route driving skills with the ability to navigate using maps or GPS systems. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and record keeping. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
