Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable & experienced commercial driver for immediate hire. This role involves operating various types of commercial trucks, including but not limited to haul trucks & dump trucks to deliver materials & equipment efficiently & safely to job sites. The candidate must ensure compliance with
FMCSA & DOT
regulations at all times. Candidates must possess a valid Class A or Class B commercial driver's license {CDL} with relevant endorsements & demonstrate excellent driving skills in both manual & automatic transmissions. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles including but not limited to haul trucks & dump trucks while adhering to all FMCSA and DOT regulations. Plan routes using a Pin Dropped point. Load & unload cargo manually or with equipment. Transport materials & / or equipment maintaining compliance with safety standards at all times. Conduct pre-trip & post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation & delivery records in accordance with federal regulations. Communicate effectively with project managers concerning route changes or issues encountered during transit. Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks & report any mechanical issues promptly. Experience Proven experience in commercial vehicle driving including operation of haul trucks, flatbed trucks & dump trucks. Strong understanding of cargo handling including loading / securing / unloading procedures. Knowledge of FMCSA {Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration} regulations & DOT {Department of Transportation} rules is essential. Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated. {Hazmat endorsement is a plus but not mandatory}. Hiring Requirements Must have a valid commercial driver's license {CDL}. Must NOT have an {E} restriction on their license {limited to automatic transmission vehicles only}. Must be able to operate manual transmission trucks safety & efficiently. Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen. Must have a clean background {NO felonies}. Must be insurable to drive company vehicles. $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
