Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight, equipment, and goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Plan and navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across over-the-road (OTR) driving routes Load and unload freight safely using manual handling techniques, ensuring proper cargo handling and securement of logistics cargo Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods in compliance with hazardous materials regulations Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and documentation to ensure truck safety and compliance with DOT standards Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and shift reports in accordance with company policies Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any logistical issues Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker trucks, and automobile transportation Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials regulations, DOT rules, and safety standards for truck loading/unloading Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently Experience with logistics cargo handling and freight management systems Strong understanding of truck loading/unloading procedures for various cargo types including hazardous or dangerous goods Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service Join us as a Driver to enjoy a rewarding career where your skills keep goods moving efficiently across the country.
