Job Description

Who We Are:
Watkins Distributing is a family-owned and operated beverage distribution company that has proudly served Idaho and Montana for four generations.
Job Summary:
The Non-CDL Driver runs an assigned route, delivering and merchandising the company's products. The work schedule is four 10-hour days.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive an assigned route, delivering product safely, on time, and professionally, while adhering to all traffic laws. Unload product from the truck using a pallet jack and/or hand truck. Check in product with store personnel. Ensure delivery accuracy by verifying orders and obtaining signatures. Stock all cooler space, shelf space, and displays at time of delivery. Rotate product according to company standards. Pick up empty keg shells, damaged items, or mis-ordered product for credit. Collect invoices and complete detailed route paperwork each day. Communicate effectively with sales reps and store personnel. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills & Abilities:
Prior delivery driving experience preferred. Valid driver's license with no major violations. Able to maneuver a hand truck loaded with product. Comfortable using standard handheld computer input/output devices. Physical Demands & Work Environment Must be able to regularly lift and move cases ranging from 20-30 lbs., and lift up to 160 lbs. to waist level. Tasks involve bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods. Work independently across multiple retail locations throughout the shift. Safely operate a delivery vehicle in varying weather conditions. Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
