About the Job Ruan is hiring Class A CDL drivers to be based in Greensboro, NC, to haul grocery product in refrigerated trailers for our growing, dedicated customer, Publix. Pay Average $90,000 per year while earning $0.60 per mile, $16.25 per stop, $31.50 per diem for each night you're away from your home domicile, and $20 per hour for detention. Get paid weekly! Schedule Be home weekly with consecutive days off! We have a.m. start times that dispatch between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. We also have p.m. start times that dispatch between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m. Drivers run over the weekend with a mid-week reset of 34 hours. Optional 6th day of work available. Deliver to Publix stores and distribution centers within Charleston, SC, Virginia, and possibly Georgia and North Carolina. Equipment Drive an assigned late-model Sleeper Cab while hauling no-touch freight grocery product loads in refrigerated units and dry vans. Job Requirements:
Must be at least 22 years or older No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply) No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records Additional qualifications will apply
