GFL Environmental is seeking a safety-focused Roll Off Driver to service commercial, industrial, and construction customers. In this role, you will operate roll-off trucks to pick up, transport, and drop containers for waste, recycling, and debris at customer sites, landfills, and transfer stations. Responsibilities include conducting pre/post-trip inspections, safely loading and securing containers, following DOT and company safety procedures, maintaining accurate service records, and providing professional customer service. You'll work independently in the field while supporting GFL's mission of sustainable, reliable environmental services. Responsibilities Operate roll-off trucks to pick up, transport, and drop waste and recycling containers at customer sites, landfills, and transfer stations. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical or safety issues. Safely load, secure, and unload containers, ensuring compliance with weight limits and company procedures. Follow all DOT, local, and company safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and safe driving practices. Maintain accurate logs, tickets, and service documentation using company systems. Communicate professionally with dispatch, supervisors, and customers regarding schedules, site access, and service needs. Keep truck and equipment clean, organized, and in safe working condition. Report route hazards, incidents, or service issues promptly to management.
