Job Description
Carolina CDL Training Center is seeking a full-time Class A CDL Instructor to join our team in Asheville, NC. We are looking for a safety-focused, professional CDL driver who is passionate about helping students build successful careers in the trucking industry. As a CDL Instructor, you will provide classroom and behind-the-wheel training while preparing students to earn their Class A Commercial Driver's License. Pay $26.00-$30.00 per hour (based on experience) Schedule Full-time Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM Responsibilities Provide classroom and behind-the-wheel CDL instruction Teach pre-trip inspections, backing maneuvers, and road driving Ensure students follow FMCSA and school safety standards Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback Maintain a positive, professional learning environment Qualifications Valid Class A CDL Minimum 2 years of verified Class A driving experience Ability to pass a background check Fairly clean driving record Strong communication and interpersonal skills Teaching or mentoring experience is a plus, but not required If you're ready to help train the next generation of professional drivers, we'd love to hear from you.
