Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Vacuum Excavation CDL Operator to join our team. The Hydrovac CDL Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining hydrovac equipment, ensuring that all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner. This position requires a valid CDL license and knowledge/ strong understanding of buried utilities. This is NOT a driver position, this is labor intensive position that requires a CDL to maneuver our air vac/hydrovac trucks to and from job locations Driving 10%, Labor 90%
Responsibilities:
Operate hydrovac equipment to safely and efficiently excavate soil and debris from various locations Perform routine maintenance on hydrovac equipment, including daily inspections and basic repairs Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe work practices| Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective completion of all tasks Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed Represent company to customers professionally and respectfully.
Qualifications:
Valid CDL license with a clean driving record Minimum of 2 years of experience operating hydrovac equipment or underground construction equipment. Ability to read and interpret maps, diagrams, and instructions Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability and willingness to work in inclement weather. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime, as needed, travel is not intended but is a possibility when the need arise. Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in outdoor environments We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for advancement within the company.
