We provide dependable equipment and service through a knowledgeable team committed to helping our customers get the job done safely. About the Position We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Driver to transport pumps, pipe, and related equipment to and from customer job sites. This position combines commercial driving with hands-on loading, unloading, cargo securement, and equipment handling. You will operate a commercial vehicle with a 40-foot gooseneck trailer and work with our team to make safe, timely deliveries and pickups. Responsibilities Safely transport pumps, pipe, and related equipment to and from job sites. Load, unload, block, brace, and secure cargo using appropriate chains, binders, straps, and other securement equipment. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly report defects or maintenance needs. Follow applicable federal and state transportation regulations and company safety procedures. Comply with hours-of-service requirements and maintain accurate records, including electronic logs as required. Operate forklifts and telehandlers after completing required training and receiving company authorization. Coordinate deliveries and pickups with company staff and customer contacts. Immediately report accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions. Keep assigned vehicles and equipment clean and ready for service. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License appropriate for the assigned vehicles, with any required endorsements and no restrictions that prevent their operation. At least two years of verifiable CDL driving experience. Current DOT medical certification and required medical status reflected on the driver's licensing record. Driving record that meets company and insurance eligibility requirements. Demonstrated ability to safely load and secure equipment. Working knowledge of commercial vehicle safety, inspection, and hours-of-service requirements. Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers and complete required records accurately. Forklift and telehandler experience [preferred]. Physical Requirements and Work Environment Essential duties include: Sitting for extended periods while driving. Climbing onto and off vehicles, trailers, and equipment. Lifting, pulling, and handling chains, binders, straps, and other materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Performing loading, unloading, and securement tasks at yards and customer job sites. Applicants must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, and meet applicable DOT medical qualification requirements. Preemployment Screening and Safety Requirements This is a safety-sensitive position subject to applicable DOT and FMCSA drug and alcohol testing requirements. Employment is contingent on meeting driver qualification requirements, an acceptable driving-record review, a verified negative preemployment DOT drug test, and a preemployment FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse query confirming eligibility to perform safety-sensitive duties. Applicants must provide the required Clearinghouse consent. Drivers are subject to random testing and other testing required by applicable regulations. Drug and alcohol violations require removal from safety-sensitive duties and may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination, under company policy.
