Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious CDL Class A Septic Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. Duties Safely operate CDL Class A septic trucks, including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, and flatbed trucks, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) and state transportation regulations. Load, transport, and unload waste materials efficiently while adhering to hazardous materials regulations when applicable. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, including air brake systems and mechanical components. Maintain accurate logs of daily routes, deliveries, pickups, and service reports in compliance with safety protocol adherence. Service septic systems at residential, commercial, municipal waste management sites using front-end loaders or other specialized equipment. Communicate professionally with customers to explain services, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction during each interaction. Follow traffic laws diligently while navigating city streets or rural routes to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Perform heavy lifting as needed during maintenance or when assisting with load & unload tasks on various trucks such as tractor-trailers or roll-off units. Maintain cleanliness of trucks and equipment to uphold safety standards and operational efficiency. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record; experience operating heavy-duty trucks such as septic trucks, garbage trucks, dump trucks, or tractor-trailers is highly preferred. Proven experience in commercial truck driving with knowledge of route driving and delivery procedures. Mechanical knowledge of truck systems including air brakes, manual transmissions, hydraulic equipment, and basic troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with solid waste management practices and municipal waste regulations is advantageous. Strong understanding of traffic laws, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations (if applicable), and safety protocol adherence. Outdoor work experience required; ability to perform heavy lifting safely is essential. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude during client interactions.
