Class A CDL Driver for NC to Greater North East Area

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class A CDL Truck Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight to various locations while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage routes efficiently. Responsibilities Safely drive and deliver freight to designated locations in a timely manner. Ensure proper handling of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo transported. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays. Manage route driving efficiently to optimize delivery schedules. Experience Proven experience as a truck driver with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Experience in delivery driving or operating heavy-duty trucks is a plus. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving. Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps for efficient route planning. Class A CDL Driver needed to deliver new furniture to retail stores and warehouses throughout the North East Region. This is a touch-freight position where the driver will be expected to assist with unloading furniture at the customer's retail stores and warehouses. This is not Home Delivery or White Glove Service. Loads will originate in Hickory, NC and deliver throughout the greater North East area.

Requirements:

1 Year Minimum Verifiable Tractor-Trailer Experience Excellent Driving Record Must be able to pass a Pre-employment Drug Screen Driver needs to be customer oriented and physically able to move furniture with a hand truck. Most stores will have loading docks, however; some will not. Furniture Delivery Experience Preferred but not required.
