Warehouse Manager Job Summary:
The Drivers responsibility is to safely transport cargo from one branch location to another.
Driver Responsibilities:
Plans travel route that will best serve the time of delivery to each location. Uses knowledge of local area, GPS and/or mapping applications to avoid high traffic areas and to ensure the shortest and safest route to delivery. Arrives at a predetermined location on time for delivery. Drives cargo to destination safely and accurately. Maintains a record of travel for expenses and tracking purposes. Ensures maintenance is up-to-date and confirms there are no mechanical issues. Responsible for maintaining a clean vehicle. Responsible for reviewing orders prior to delivery. Obtain delivery confirmation as required. Handle all delivery questions and concerns in a professional manner. Comply with relevant transportation and road requirements and safety standards
Requirements Driver Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred) Valid and Current Driver's license Possess an acceptable driving record. Ability to safely operate and navigate vehicle. Ability to understand and operate GPS technology and other relevant apps for travel. Reliable, dependable, and punctual Adaptability to fast-paced and changing work environment. Physical Requirements Ability to move, push, load and unload items. Ability to lift, bend, kneel, crouch and stretch. Ability to get in and out of vehicle multiple times per day.
