Job Overview Job Overview Carolina Custom Products is a manufacturing facility specializing in building truck beds and upfitting Cab & Chassis trucks. We are seeking a dependable CDL A Driver / General Laborer to join our team. This position combines commercial driving with hands-on work at our facility. The primary responsibility will be picking up and delivering trucks and truck beds using a medium-duty Cab & Chassis truck and 53' car hauler . Short haul, regional driving. When deliveries are not scheduled, the employee will assist with general labor and other duties at the manufacturing facility. The position averages approximately 20 hours of driving per week , with the remaining time spent supporting facility operations. Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety procedures for truck loading/unloading Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance on over-the-road routes.
