Job ResponsibilitiesDrive Routes:

Follow specific maps and schedules to pick up trash bins from neighborhoods or businesses.

Operate Equipment:

Use mechanical arms, levers, or hoists to lift and empty containers into the truck.

Inspect Vehicle:

Check the truck before and after trips to ensure safe working conditions.

Dispose of Waste:

Empty the collected materials safely at a local landfill, transfer station, or recycling center.

Follow Safety Rules:

Obey traffic laws and wear protective gear to prevent accidents.

Requirements and QualificationsCommercial Driver's License (CDL): Most jobs require a valid Class B CDL (or Class A for larger trucks).

Clean Driving Record:

A safe driving history without major violations.

Physical Fitness:

Ability to sit for long periods, step in and out of the truck frequently, and lift heavy items if needed.

Weather Tolerance:

Willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather (rain, snow, heat).

Communication Skills:

Ability to talk politely with residents and work well with crew members.

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
