Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dump Truck and Boom Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks and boom trucks to transport, load, and unload various materials efficiently and safely across diverse job sites. Your expertise in commercial/ off road truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will ensure timely deliveries and smooth operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to residential construction and some commercial projects while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate dump trucks and boom trucks equipped with specialized attachments for loading, unloading, and transporting materials such as gravel, debris, or form panels Navigate over-the-road (OTR) routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across multiple locations Load and unload freight with precision, adhering to logistics cargo handling protocols and safety regulations Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation) Secure loads properly using appropriate tie-downs or restraints to prevent shifting or accidents during transit Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo manifests, inspection reports, and delivery documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements Conduct routine vehicle inspections and manual handling checks to ensure trucks are in optimal condition for safe operation Experience Proven experience operating dump trucks, boom trucks, flatbeds, or similar heavy-duty vehicles in commercial driving environments Demonstrated knowledge of truck loading/unloading procedures Ability to navigate complex routes using GPS navigation systems on over-the-road (OTR) driving routes Experience with forklift operation or other material handling equipment is a plus but not mandatory Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to heavy-duty truck operation; manual transmission experience is a must Join us as a Dump Truck and Boom Truck Driver to be part of a dedicated team committed to safety, efficiency, and excellence on every journey.
