All of our drivers are also expected to labor as needed. Safely operate CDL A licensed dump truck to transport material and equipment to and from jobsites Load and unload cargo efficiently using manual handling techniques or equipment, ensuring proper securing of freight. Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing fuel efficiency and route planning. Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and other safety standards during every trip. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, inspections, and delivery documentation in accordance with DOT regulations. Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify maintenance needs or safety issues; report any concerns promptly. Assist with truck loading and unloading processes, ensuring cargo is handled safely and correctly according to logistics cargo handling procedures. Experience Valid CDL A license with clean driving record; experience operating dump trucks and hauling freight. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving across diverse terrains. Hands-on experience with manual transmission trucks and manual handling techniques for cargo management. Knowledge of GPS navigation systems for route optimization and logistics planning. Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance standards, and safety protocols related to truck driving and cargo handling.
