Job Description
Job Summary Brown Bear Transportation is seeking a CDL A driver with tanker and hazmat endorsements to move trucks between our maintenance facility in North Hampton, NH and our terminals in New England and upstate New York. Responsibilities Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven.. Navigate routes efficiently while complying with traffic laws and regulations. Communicate effectively with fleet manager regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Demonstrate proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles as well as operating various types of trucks. Experience Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tanker trucks or similar commercial vehicles. Strong background in route driving with a focus on timely deliveries. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required, along with a clean driving record. Previous delivery driver experience will be highly regarded.
