Job Description
Class A Truck Driver Job Summary:
We seek a reliable and experienced Transfer Truck Driver to join our team. As a Transfer Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods Sunday- Thursday nights 10 pm
- 6 am from our Barre location to our Swanzey, NH hub.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate tractor-trailer
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Follow all safety regulations and traffic laws while on the road
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$50,000.00- $60,000.
