Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Tow Truck Driver/Shop Hand to join our dynamic team. This vital role combines the responsibilities of safely operating tow trucks to assist with vehicle recoveries and towing, along with supporting shop operations through minor mechanical repairs and vehicle maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and a customer-focused attitude to ensure efficient service delivery and uphold safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where teamwork, safety, and quality service are at the forefront. Duties Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized vehicles, to recover and transport vehicles efficiently. Secure vehicles onto tow trucks following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit. Perform minor mechanical repairs and basic troubleshooting on vehicles, including automotive diagnostics and vehicle mechanics for truck drivers. Assist with vehicle loading and unloading, ensuring safe vehicle handling and adherence to safety procedures. Support shop operations by performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire replacements, and fluid checks. Manage vehicle recovery towing operations for various scenarios, including accident scenes or breakdowns. Maintain accurate records of all towing activities, repairs, and inspections while adhering to safety guidelines.
