Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Seasonal Snow Plow Driver and be a vital part of ensuring safe and accessible pathways during the winter months. In this role, you will operate snow plowing equipment to clear driveways, parking lots, and walkways efficiently and safely. Your proactive approach and attention to safety will help maintain smooth operations in challenging winter conditions, providing peace of mind for our community and clients. This position offers an energetic environment where your skills in outdoor work and equipment operation are valued and essential. This position has the potential to be a seasonal job to include plowing and tree work or just plowing during snd after it snows. Pretty flexible. Responsibilities Operate snow plow trucks and related equipment to clear snow and ice from designated areas, including roads, driveways, parking lots, and walkways Conduct pre-operation inspections of plow vehicles to ensure safety and proper functioning of all mechanical components Follow established safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure safe working conditions during winter weather operations Communicate effectively with team members regarding weather conditions, equipment status, and operational updates Assist with the application of de-icing materials when necessary to enhance safety on cleared surfaces Maintain detailed logs of work performed, including areas cleared and time spent on each task Perform routine maintenance checks on plow trucks and report any mechanical issues promptly Experience Previous outdoor work experience, particularly in snow removal or related fields such as landscaping or grounds maintenance Mechanical knowledge of power tools, ground maintenance equipment, and vehicle operation is highly desirable Familiarity with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, tree care, gardening, irrigation systems, and plant identification is a plus Knowledge of safety protocols for outdoor equipment operation and winter weather conditions Ability to operate hand tools and landscaping equipment safely and efficiently Strong physical stamina to perform manual tasks in cold weather environments This role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive outdoors in seasonal conditions and are committed to maintaining safe environments through efficient snow removal. $25.23 - $40.00 per hour
