This role involves delivering freight efficiently and safely across within parking lot around other vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, equipment handling, with a focus on safety and navigating truck/trailer through tight spaces. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers to join our Wonolo team! Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with various trailer types including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, dump truck, and roll-off trucks. Drive across assigned routes adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Manage route schedules to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance issues or safety concerns. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during transit. Follow all safety protocols related to driving heavy-duty trucks and handling freight. Skills Valid CDL A license with relevant endorsements for tractor-trailer operation. Experience driving pickup trucks preferred. Proven ability to operate large trailers Experience in route driving with a focus on efficiency and safety. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and DOT compliance standards. Excellent driving record with a history of safe operation of large commercial vehicles. Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions. This role is ideal for experienced drivers seeking a professional environment where safety, reliability, and customer service are prioritized.
