We have been in business since 1998 and continue to grow. We are seeking an experienced and professional Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will transport a variety of crane parts, counterweights, and equipment from our yard in Howell to different job sites throughout NJ. You will gain experience in the crane and rigging industry by working hand-in-hand with other truck drivers, riggers, and crane operators during time on the job site by assembling and disassembling cranes as well as assisting in rigging activities. You will plan the most efficient route, ensure adherence to delivery schedules, and perform routine vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience driving trucks and makes safety a number one priority. Responsibilities Pick up trailers loaded with counterweights or other crane accessories and transport to and from the job site. Perform routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance Plan the safest and most efficient routes of travel Adhere to delivery schedules Loading and unloading of equipment onto trucks and trailers Comply with all company policies and driving laws Qualifications Previous experience driving a tractor trailer is mandatory Valid commercial driver's license (CDL A) TWIC Card or the ability to get a TWIC card Knowledge of how to properly tie down loads Understanding of all relevant truck driving laws and regulations Clean driving record Willingness to work over time and occasionally on weekends
