Expected schedule:
Hours may vary
  • September through June, 2:30pm
  • 5:30pm. For July and August 7:30am
  • 12:30pm.
Summary:
To provide transportation to patients admitted in the Princeton House outpatient program across all outpatient sites. To provide courier service as requested by supervisor. The PHBH Driver functions collectively with the outpatient fleet, primary location and routes will vary based on the needs of the Outpatient Transportation System.
Responsibilities:
Provide timely transportation to patients admitted in the outpatient programs. Operate the vehicle safely and adhere to all applicable motor vehicle transportation laws. Provide courier service as requested. Assist patients into and out of the vehicle, as necessary. Report any patient or transportation incidents to your supervisor. Maintain daily transportation log via Mediroutes scheduling system. Ensure daily maintenance of ride confirmations to facilitate billing reimbursement. Depart for assigned "runs" at specified times. Support customer service by maintaining professional and friendly presentation at all times. Maintain a clean and professional uniform appearance at all times. Maintain a clean and neat vehicle at all times to support a positive patient experience. Meet performance improvement goals of the departmentcollaborate with caregivers / staff, to enhance patient service. Maintain standards of confidentiality. Participate in unit compliance as related to established standards and attend department meetings as requested. As requested by management, provide assistance with general office functions or related tasks. Monitor or supervise patients as requested.
Credentials:
Driver's License (Required) Valid driver's license in good standing in employee's state of residence and a record in good standing with the State of New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission and no combination of three moving violations and/or at fault crashes during the previous thirty-six months. Must obtain class C CDL with passenger endorsement within 120 days of hire Drug-screen is required pre-employment and that random alcohol and drug screens are required to be conducted by us annually
Education or Equivalent Experience:

Associate of Arts or Science Education Specialization:

Bachelor of Arts or Science Education Specialization:

  • Previous stable work record preferably to include driving within a transportation service system.
  • All drivers must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
