Pilot Driver (Escort Driver)

American Pro Pool Solutions is seeking a reliable Pilot / Escort Driver to assist with the safe transportation of fiberglass swimming pools to installation sites throughout South Jersey and surrounding areas. This role involves driving an escort vehicle ahead of or behind our delivery truck to help guide oversized pool transports, maintain road safety, and communicate with the driver throughout the route. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong driving skills who enjoys being on the road and working with a team in the field. Responsibilities Escort delivery trucks transporting oversized fiberglass swimming pools Drive escort vehicle ahead of or behind the transport truck Communicate with truck drivers via phone or radio during transport Help identify safe routes and alert drivers to road conditions, turns, or obstacles Assist with navigating tight residential streets or delivery locations Help ensure oversized loads travel safely and comply with transport regulations Maintain awareness of surrounding traffic and road conditions Occasionally assist the crew upon arrival at job sites if needed Requirements Valid driver's license Valid DOT Medical Card Clean driving record Reliable personal vehicle Strong communication and awareness while driving Ability to follow transport safety procedures Ability to work outdoors and travel locally Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused Preferred Experience Escort / pilot car driving Oversized load transport Route planning or delivery driving Construction or equipment transport support

Pay:

$20.00 per hour
