Job Description

Clean Harbors seeks a Class B driver to safely transport materials and support environmental and industrial services. In this role, you'll operate Class B vehicles, handle drums and bulk waste, and follow DOT and hazardous waste regulations. You'll complete inspections, manifests, and logs while using proper PPE and participating in safety programs. Working closely with dispatch and customers, you'll help deliver reliable service that protects the environment. Responsibilities Safely operate a Class B commercial vehicle to transport waste and materials between client sites and Clean Harbors facilities Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required logs and documentation Load, secure, transport, and unload drums, totes, and bulk materials in compliance with DOT and company safety standards Follow all hazardous waste handling, labeling, and manifesting procedures Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and facility staff regarding schedules and service needs Use basic equipment such as liftgates, pallet jacks, and hoses for industrial and environmental service work Adhere to company safety policies, use required PPE, and participate in safety meetings and trainings Support emergency response or on-call assignments as needed within defined service areas Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance or safety issues promptly Accurately complete electronic or paperwork related to routes, loads, and regulatory requirements Required Skills Class B CDL driving DOT regulations compliance Hazardous materials handling Vehicle inspection and maintenance checks Defensive driving Load securement Use of PPE and safety procedures Reading and completing manifests and logs Basic equipment operation (liftgate, pallet jack, hoses) Route planning and time management
