Job Description

HPC Industrial powered by Clean Harbors seeks a Class A/B CDL Driver & Equipment Operator to support industrial cleaning and environmental services at energy and industrial sites. This role operates manual-transmission CDL trucks and field equipment such as vacuum units and hydroblasters, performs safe loading/unloading, and completes DOT inspections. The position works in demanding field conditions, following strict safety procedures while supporting team operations, client requirements, and environmental compliance on customer locations. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A/B CDL manual-transmission trucks to and from industrial client sites Operate industrial cleaning equipment including vacuum trucks and hydroblasting units Perform DOT-compliant pre- and post-trip inspections and complete required logs Follow all safety procedures, JSAs, and PPE requirements in demanding field environments Assist crew with setup, operation, and breakdown of equipment at customer locations Load, transport, and offload waste and materials in compliance with environmental regulations Communicate with supervisors, dispatch, and clients to coordinate daily work Inspect and perform basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment, reporting issues promptly Accurately follow work orders, site instructions, and company procedures Support a team-oriented, safety-first culture and mentor less-experienced crew members Required Skills Class A CDL driving Class B CDL driving Manual transmission operation Industrial vacuum/pressure equipment operation Hydroblasting or high-pressure water blasting Pre- and post-trip DOT inspections Defensive driving and load securement Job safety analysis and PPE use Basic mechanical troubleshooting Reading and following work orders and procedures
