CDL Class A Driver

•Construction & Equipment Hauling Job Summary Santos Landscaping Inc. is seeking an experienced CDL Class A Driver for a full-time position based out of Scotch Plains, NJ . This position is primarily responsible for transporting construction and landscaping equipment, machinery, and materials to and from job sites throughout New Jersey. We are looking for a dependable and experienced driver who is comfortable hauling heavy construction equipment, operating trucks with trailers, and working around active construction and landscaping job sites. This is a great opportunity for an experienced CDL driver looking for a steady, long-term position with an established company. Duties & Responsibilities Safely operate company trucks and trailers to transport construction and landscaping equipment and materials. Haul excavators, skid steers, loaders, and other construction equipment to and from job sites. Safely load, secure, transport, and unload equipment. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Follow all DOT and company safety requirements. Maintain trucks and trailers in clean and safe operating condition. Coordinate with supervisors and crews regarding equipment deliveries and pickups. Assist with loading/unloading equipment and materials when necessary. Travel primarily to job sites throughout New Jersey. Maintain required driving and vehicle documentation. Qualifications & Requirements Valid CDL Class A license required. Previous experience hauling construction equipment and machinery strongly preferred . Experience driving trucks with equipment trailers. Knowledge of proper equipment loading and securement procedures. Comfortable working around excavators, skid steers, loaders, and other heavy equipment. Good driving record. Dependable, punctual, and responsible. Ability to safely perform the physical duties associated with loading and securing equipment. Construction, excavation, landscaping, or similar industry experience is a plus. Must be able to reliably report to our Scotch Plains, NJ location.

Full-Time Pay:

$28.00

•35.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule:

Monday through Saturday, with additional hours as needed based on workload. Santos Landscaping Inc. is looking for an experienced driver who takes pride in maintaining equipment, operating safely, and being a dependable part of the team.

$25.00
