In this energetic role, you will operate specialized roll-off trucks to transport and dispose of waste efficiently and safely. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route management, and safety protocols will ensure smooth daily operations while providing excellent customer service to our clients. Duties Safely operate roll-off trucks, adhering strictly to traffic laws, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and state transportation laws. Load, unload, and transport waste containers to designated disposal sites while ensuring proper handling of and in compliance with material regulations. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including air brake systems and mechanical components, to ensure optimal safety and performance. Manage route driving efficiently by planning daily schedules, navigating traffic safely, and maintaining timely deliveries and pickups. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, route logs, and incident reports in accordance with safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during pickups and drop-offs, addressing any concerns promptly. Qualifications Proven experience operating commercial trucks such as roll-off trucks Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements for air brake operation and manual transmission driving preferred. Strong knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, hazard materials handling, and safety protocol adherence. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues. Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions. Excellent driving skills with a focus on defensive driving techniques to ensure safety for yourself and others on the road.
