Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including roll-off trucks, bobtail trucks, and flatbeds. This role requires a strong commitment to safety. The Truck Driver will be responsible for delivering empty roll-off bins and picking up full bins and also picking up occasional loads on a standard 43' tandem flat bed. Responsibilities Operate and drive various types of trucks including tractor-trailers, bobtail trucks, and flatbeds. Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently. Ensure all cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo details. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Utilize manual transmission when required for specific vehicle operations. Operate forklifts as needed for loading and unloading tasks. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated. Current DOT medical card. Clean driving record Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of road safety regulations. Experience operating bobtail trucks, roll-off trucks, and flatbeds is preferred. Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading and unloading processes. Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance procedures is a plus.
