Southern Tier Express, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer seeking an experienced and reliable Class A CDL driver with a background in over-dimensional loads to join our team! A successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting wind turbine components such as blades, nacelles, and tower sections along with other goods and materials to various locations. Following all applicable laws and regulations is required. Drivers will leave the Northeast area to any part of the United States and then will return back to the Northeast.

Responsibilities:

Be able to drive long distances for extended periods of time Be able to read maps, permits and follow directives Be able to lift and carry heavy objects Effective communication with customers and co-workers Be familiar with the rules of the road and safety regulations Ensure trucks are maintained in good working condition, and are kept clean

Qualifications:

Must have a valid Class A CDL and a clean driving record Must be able to pass a drug test and physical agility test Must be able to operate a manual transmission
