Starting at $25/hour Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a commitment to safety, adherence to regulations, and excellent driving skills. The Truck Driver will operate tractor-trailers. Duties Operate and drive tractor-trailers. Load and unload freight securely to prevent damage during transport. Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and deliveries. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Skills Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). vehicles. Familiarity with various truck types including refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and tankers. Strong knowledge of load securing techniques and freight handling. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate logs and documentation. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
