• Multiple shifts available Shift 1: Wed-Sun 10am-7pm / Mon & Tues off Shift 2: Fri-Tues 1pm-10pm / Wednesday & Thursday off Delaware Valley Job Corps is an education and training center located in beautiful Callicoon, NY. We operate with student-focused programs to ensure successful training and employment placement for each individual we serve. As a Driver, you'll provide safe, reliable transportation for students and staff while helping keep the Center running smoothly. You'll operate Center vehicles, follow all safety and transportation regulations, and support students in getting to appointments, activities, training, and other essential destinations.

JOB DUTIES

Provides safe, timely, and reliable transportation for students as assigned. Conducts routine vehicle inspections and ensures required maintenance, repairs, and documentation are completed. Maintains accurate vehicle records and complies with DOL/Company transportation requirements. Performs routine maintenance inspections of Center facilities and systems and reports issues or needed repairs. Completes and documents assigned work accurately and within established deadlines. Assists other departments with operational needs as assigned. Promotes positive student behavior and models Career Success Standards. Communicates effectively with students, staff, and supervisors and works collaboratively across departments. Maintains reliable attendance, accountability, and professional standards.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Valid in-State Driver's License required and ability to meet Company insurability requirements. Ability and commitment to maintain a safe and structured environment. The ability to sit, stand, climb, walk, lift, pull/push, carry, reach, stoop, and crouch.
