Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic laws, and excellent time management skills. The Truck Driver will haul bulk feed ingredients to various feed mills throughout the northeast. This job requires overnights Duties Safely operate assigned vehicles while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials. Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while maintaining accurate delivery logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck to ensure a safe working environment. Comply with all company policies and procedures related to commercial driving. Skills Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Ability to drive various types of trucks including delivery drivers, roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and flatbeds. Strong route driving skills with knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and customers. Attention to detail for completing delivery logs accurately and performing vehicle inspections. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
