CDL DRIVER CLASS B

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable CDL Driver Class B to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of commercial trucks, including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers, to deliver goods and materials efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in driving and heavy lifting will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of Class B commercial vehicles such as front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers to transport goods and materials. Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques or vehicle-mounted equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical soundness and compliance with safety regulations. Follow designated routes and schedules precisely to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing fuel efficiency. Assist with heavy lifting tasks as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge of truck systems and load securing methods. Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle maintenance records, and documentation for each trip. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with a clean driving record. Proven experience operating heavy-duty trucks such as front loaders, rear loaders, roll-offs, dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers. Strong mechanical knowledge of truck systems and maintenance procedures. Ability to perform manual lifting of heavy loads safely and efficiently. Experience with load & unload operations using various truck types. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles preferred. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws. Prior delivery driver experience is highly desirable.
