As a driver for Clifford C. Hay, Inc. you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations within and around the Northeast while reporting directly to the owner and the driving management team. Your role will require a valid class A CDL with a minimum of 3 years work experience operating tractor-trailers and commercial vehicles and a strong work history. Experience with dryvan trailers and flatbeds including roll tarp systems (Conestogas) is preferable.

Compensation:

Competitive (paid per hour, plus differentials and other earning opportunities) Current drivers average 58 hours per week (based on last quarter), hours per day will vary from 1:00AM to 4:00PM. Responsibilities:

Operate and drive a tractor-trailer to transport goods safely and efficiently. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections with accuracy to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload freight when required and/or ensure proper handling and securing of cargo. Maintain accurate delivery logs using an electronic logging device and adhere to scheduled routes. Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols while on the road. Communicate with management team to report any issues or delays during transport. Be professional, friendly, and respectful.
