Full-Time Job Summary:
The warehouse driver operates our food bank vehicles and performs warehouse functions in a computerized environment.
Essential Functions:
Follow scheduled routes for pick-ups and deliveries to safely operate a 24 ft truck. Load and unload products on trucks at pickup locations and warehouse. Efficiently loads orders during the morning routine. Follows food safety standards for temperature control. Maintains the highest standards for inventory accuracy. Pick up and deliver products from designated locations. Reports delays and problems with completing assignments. Maintains customer service and professionalism. Operates material handling equipment and other similar equipment. This position requires the ability to accurately process full cases and pallets of product in a computerized environment. Able to learn and work with scanners and printers. Maintains the highest standards for inventory accuracy. Responsible for basic maintenance and service to assigned vehicles. Reports all mechanical problems and repairs to supervisor. Performs daily pre-trip inspection before beginning route. Maintains a safe driving record. Submits all notices, receipts and vouchers for gas, service, violations. Assists in warehouse after completing routing assignments. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Must be professional and dependable. Must have the ability to operate a pallet and forklift. Ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment Ability to work effectively as a team and independently when required
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma Experience in driving a box truck Valid Class A or B CDL license, in good standing.
Physical Requirements:
