is looking for a skilled and dependable Full-Time CDL Driver to join our team in Islandia, NY. Responsibilities:

Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and in compliance with all DOT and state regulations Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate driver logs Transport and deliver freight, goods, or materials to designated locations on schedule Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and delivery status Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper securement of all freight Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly Follow ALL traffic laws and regulations while driving

Requirements:

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) — Class A Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial driving Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents Must meet DOT physical and medical certification requirements (Drug and Alcohol test/ Follicle Examine) Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) rules Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Reliable, punctual, and professional with strong communication skills Knowledge of and ability to operate various types of trucks including flatbeds, refrigerated, trailers, dry van trailers, tankers, etc. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
