Job Description
Trailways of New York is Hiring Motor Coach Bus Detailers When getting there matters , our modern well-equipped motor coaches carry passengers throughout New York State, and into Montreal, Toronto and Detroit, Michigan. We have immediate employment opportunities for full-time Bus Detailers in our Fleet Maintenance Facility in Kingston, NY. The preferred candidate is an initiative-taker who manages their time safely and effectively with little supervision, and has: A professional and service-oriented mentality. A strong work ethic, sense of urgency and the ability to work independently. Custodial or housekeeping experience with knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and equipment. The availability to work nights, weekends and holidays. The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical exam. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Washing the exterior of the vehicle with the help of a state-of-the-art motor coach washing machine. Cleaning and disinfecting the interior of the coach including the driver and passenger seating areas, storage areas and restrooms. Reporting damage or issues found during detailing to the supervisor. Properly maintaining cleaning equipment at the end of each shift. Performing housekeeping duties in the facility when not detailing coaches. Following company policies and OSHA safety regulations.
