The Driver will report directly to the warehouse manager of the company and be responsible in delivering and unloading box trucks to various construction locations in New York.

Description:

Retrieval and delivery of materials and tools throughout NYC, primarily Manhattan, to job sites and building supply yards. Labor duties to fill gap in times where no deliveries are needed. Prompt attendance on job assignments which may encompass early and after hours start times Adhering to the dispatching schedule set by the company. Obeying all traffic laws, especially those that come with operating a commercial vehicle. Ensure all delivery logs and reports are updated on a daily basis.

Qualification:

Clean driver license (Motor Vehicle Report will be processed for each applicant) Knowledge of construction materials, tools and equipment Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Minimum 1 year experience as a driver within a construction organization and experience with box trucks. Must possess a positive and professional attitude. Must be able to work from 6 AM to 2:30 PM with overtime when needed.
