A&O Trucking Co., Inc., a transportation company serving the Hudson Valley, is seeking a dependable and experienced Box Truck Driver for an established early-morning route. We're looking for someone who takes pride in being a professional driver, understands the importance of properly maintaining their assigned vehicle, and can be counted on to report to work on time and ready to work. Responsibilities Safely operate a commercial box truck on an assigned route Maintain dependable and punctual attendance Perform required daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Identify and promptly report mechanical or safety concerns Perform basic/light vehicle maintenance within your ability and training Keep the assigned vehicle clean, organized, and properly cared for Complete required daily vehicle and route documentation Follow company safety procedures and established route schedules Qualifications Minimum 2 years of verifiable box truck driving experience Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Experience performing daily vehicle inspections Basic knowledge of commercial vehicle components and maintenance Ability to identify common vehicle or safety concerns Strong attendance and punctuality Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently Must be available for an early-morning Monday-Saturday schedule Compensation & Benefits $34.73 per hour In addition to competitive hourly pay, this position includes: ✓ Paid Holidays ✓ Paid Vacation ✓ Paid Sick Time ✓ Consistent Monday-Saturday Schedule ✓ Typically Off by 1:00 PM About A&O Trucking A&O Trucking Co., Inc. has been providing transportation services since 1978.
