Job Description

Clean Harbors seeks a dedicated CDL Driver Class A to safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste and environmental materials between customer sites and company facilities. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs, and comply with all DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards. Working closely with dispatch and environmental teams, you'll support industrial cleaning, recycling, and spill response operations. Expect consistent routes, modern equipment, ongoing safety training, and opportunities to advance while contributing to environmental protection. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL Class A vehicles to transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate logs, manifests, and regulatory documentation Comply with all DOT, OSHA, and company safety and environmental policies Coordinate routes and schedules with dispatch and operations teams Assist with loading and unloading, ensuring proper securement of materials Report vehicle or equipment issues promptly for maintenance Support environmental and industrial service projects as needed Required Skills CDL Class A driving Route planning DOT regulations compliance Hazardous materials handling Vehicle inspection (pre/post-trip) Logbook and ELD operation Tanker operation Load securement Basic vehicle troubleshooting Time management
