Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A or B Truck Driver with a manual restriction to operate dump trucks and other construction-related heavy equipment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to construction projects by transporting materials, supporting site operations, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL A or B dump trucks with manual restrictions to transport construction materials, debris, and equipment across various job sites. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety standards. Assist with loading and unloading materials using loaders, excavators, backhoes, or water trucks as needed. Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and construction machinery, reporting any issues promptly to maintenance personnel. Support excavation, grading, utility locating, and other site preparation activities in accordance with federal construction safety regulations. Follow all safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation, construction site protocols, and equipment safety procedures. Collaborate with project managers and team members to coordinate logistics efficiently while maintaining a focus on safety and productivity. Qualifications Valid CDL A or B license with manual restriction endorsement required. Proven experience operating dump trucks, loaders, excavators, backhoes, water trucks, or similar heavy equipment in a construction environment. Mechanical knowledge sufficient to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of trucks and machinery. Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures. Construction site experience including utility work, excavation, grading, and utility locating is highly preferred. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as Caterpillar machinery safely and effectively. Strong understanding of construction utility work practices and safety regulations to ensure compliance at all times. Pay:
$35.00 - $36.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
