$23-$25 per hour | Full-Time Cross Care Transport is hiring CDL Ambulette Drivers to join their non-emergency medical transportation team! Position Summary Cross Care Transport is looking for reliable, patient, friendly, and safety-focused drivers to transport clients to and from scheduled appointments and destinations. Drivers will complete rides mainly throughout Rockland County, with occasional trips throughout Westchester County, New York City, and surrounding areas. No ambulette experience is required. Cross Care Transport is willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities Safely transport clients to and from scheduled locations Assist passengers in and out of the vehicle as needed Properly secure wheelchairs, seatbelts, and equipment Follow assigned routes, schedules, and dispatch instructions Communicate clearly with dispatch, office staff, clients, and facilities Provide respectful, calm, and professional service to all passengers Keep the vehicle clean and presentable Report vehicle issues, delays, incidents, or safety concerns promptly Follow company safety procedures and transportation requirements Requirements Valid NYS CDL Class C with Passenger Endorsement (CDL Class A or Class B with Passenger Endorsement also accepted) Current CDL driving abstract required Must be at least 21 years old Clean, unrestricted driving record within the last three years Ability to read, write, and speak English Authorized to work in the United States Must pass pre-employment drug screening Must pass required DOT physical/medical requirements Commercial driving, ambulette, or medical transportation experience is preferred, but not required.

Compensation:

$23-$25 per hour, based on schedule, experience, and qualifications.
