Job Description
EWASTE+ is seeking a CDL or Non CDL Driver in Ossining, NY! Home Every Night - 4 hour driving radius Job responsibilities include: Uses GPS system to follow routed manifests to pick up client?s electronic waste in a timely manner and in accordance with local, state and Department of Transportation guidelines Assembles and wraps palettes with shrink wrap and labels with batch numbers accordingly Provides good customer service and maintains a professional manner and appearance to enhance the company?s image Performs Department of Transportation pre-trip inspections according to checklist, and keeps accurate copies in the vehicle at all times Maintains company fuel credit cards and valid proof of insurance and registration in the vehicle Maintains a daily, legible Department of Transportation logbook and submits as required Ensures proper maintenance of vehicles and reports all accidents, damages, and malfunctions to management Operates hand truck, palette and electric jack as needed Maintains cleanliness and assures proper functioning of company trucks Completes the driver portion of manifests legibly and distributes copies to appropriate places or people
